this aspect distinguishes human from animal , Senses turning inwards, instincts of survivals getting regulated for higher purpose in life , eventually overcoming the limitations of 4 , aahaar nidra bhaya maithuna------is the full perspective of the word celibacy, and is the result of one living in brahman consciousness, ie brahma charya 

without realizing and living brahman consciousness , brahmacharya, one cannot be a true celibate, 

without brahman consciousness , celibacy is most difficult path of mind/sense control , it is the way of ignorant

in brahman consciousness, living becomes most natural, as senses having tasted the joys of brahmanand, naturally become averse to anything less than it , are naturally are tuned to it, are naturally turned inwards towards it 

"I can understand from my own experience, brahmacharya is really a shield protecting me from any distracting inputs, all the nudity, vulgarity in the media , movies and visuals has no effect , without any of my struggle ." 

"''There is another option those who engaged in their profession so intensely deeply can control such natural urge 

they are transformed it into their profession and they only can be called masterminded in one field ...for example if somebody is painter even painting for nude cannot make them to feel in chaste thought they just dive deep in that 

complete control of the senses. is impossible without This realization 

realization can happen easiest in as is where is state thru guru guidance without loss of time ''Brahmacharya means control in thought, word and action, of all the senses at all times and in all places.''---------this is the mature state of sadhana, leading to ultimate mastery but it happens gradually, one gains control in degrees as sadhana continues 

during sadhana, ie till one gets total control, it is necessary t o follow dos and donts prescribed by guru, and it does need some effort , here faith helps ''it is possible to practice such Brahmacharya in thought, word and action to the fullest extent though it may be very difficult.'' 

thus such individuals increasing in society will bring in the total transformation and crimes will reduce/ vanish it is imperative that everyone has to strive to reach this goal for individual/ social/ universal good 

"Self-realization is

1 first to get a glimpse of the self , by any means , by any help

2 then sustain the practice, that momentary glimpse becomes stable 24 hours , in the mature level, in this one overcomes the body consciousness, though living in the body complex of thoughts, speech and actions. and always experiencing his real transcendental unmanifest existence the transformation from stage 1 to 2 may happen rapidly or slowly on the intensity of sadhana" 

"But we can suggest a few lines of investigation at best as a help

and if interested, one pursues and gets at the direct experience himself, not needing any one to convince ''The full and proper meaning of Brahmacharya is search of Brahman.'' -----and living the truth of existence as a reality of life ''Brahman pervades every being and can therefore be searched by realizing the inner self.''-----------the brahman being the unmanifst , underlying the every manifestation, it is not perceivable thru sense and intellect or emotion , but comes to be experienced easily in the inner self , as the self itself , as the pure awareness" 

'It is the fashion nowadays to dismiss God altogether''------since meaning one assigns to the this word ''god '' differs , and just will not appeal to the so called ''rationalists'' ''the possibility of reaching the highest kind of life without the necessity of a living faith''-----also may be feasible, , since paths are plenty initially faith helps, gradually cognizing the truth of god dispenses the need of faith ''i must confess my inability to drive the truth of the law to those who have no faith in and no need for a Power infinitely higher than themselves.''-------each has a view of his own valid for him

this is vital---- ''Better start early in life, 12 years is a long time, ''since human is born with certain remnant impurities, and accumulates further impurities in every encounter/ action . the body mind nervous system are like cooking vessel needs to be cleaned after use regularly, and reach a state of ''nonstick '' eventually refinement i/ cleaning s a delicate process takes its own time, can be accelerated by intensive practices. since it takes time, the tradition has been to give initiation into meditation practice quite early to the youth , by the time he grows into a adult he comes out with the sufficient level of purity , the right qualification to lead a human life . irrespective of gender it is applicable,  

 ability the human gains to cognize insights, life's secretes, the intricate laws of nature from within once access to this core is gained, one's life turns aligned with all the laws of nature, no more mistakes, one acts spontaneously flawless the scriptural essence get revealed from inside, as if it is open book" 

it is just a little diversion, mind is given the experience of brahman consciousness , mind finds that this experience is more charming than all the worldly pursuits . and thru regular contact with it , the mind is in sathsang with the brahman consciousness and gradually acquires the qualities of that consciousness, which are very pleasing to the mind , and takes a natural direction to function as per the natural law 

this brahman consciousness, the core of individual, i, aham , ie individual takes over the control on the mind and will be able to experience and enjoy life more glorious than that obtainable by money./ sense gratification

his desires rise to higher pedestal , ie his desires become refined, and easy to accomplish as well

such a person sees things in grand perspective , will not fall for petty attractions" 

lost time is lost forever but the present moment has infinite possibilities one can start with learning meditation in as is where is level irrespective of age etc , a student/ a professional/ or businessman/ whatever it is just sparing a few minutes morning and evening .as the practice continues , results unfold" 

"A training in brahma vidya must go hand in hand with education right from the beginning.

i feel it is the ability to gain insights any way , now the social consciousness in media and , law is rising which in a way acts as deterrent, but fundamental , root level solution is the contact with the brahman, the pure consciousness, one has to gain to really gain control over once life"

 i happened to possess the tiny book ''thus spake swami vivekananda'', and has been a practical guide ," 

in the flood of modernity. i myself , having come in association with guru and meditation movement, quite early, naturally preferred to be brahmachari , and i find that i have a shield against all inputs, and it is a blessing thru guru krupa , at workplace, during lunch time ,my colleagues male and female used to do group meditation
