dadagiri ko babagiri se dabasakthe

dadagiri ko babagiri se dabasakthe

Krishna has said  ’’arjuna stand up and fight…cowardice does not befit you ‘’….very good

But Buddha has given a new solution, the best and practical.

the terrorist Anguli mala simply surrendered in the presence of buddha

Mahatma Gandhi made ahiṁsā famous when he mobilized all of India to free itself from British domination without firing a shot.

Martin Luther King, Jr., the head of the civil rights movement in the U.S., was one of many who were influenced by Gandhi and his use of ahiṁsā to achieve social change without violence.

The Yoga Sutra describes what happens when a person is established in non-injury: “Where non-injury is established, in the vicinity of that, hostile tendencies are eliminated.” (2.35)In Sanskrit: ahiṁsā –pratishthāyāṁ tat-sannidhau vaira-tyāgaḥ.

where is non-injury established? In the state of yoga, which is defined in the second sutra of the Yoga Sutra as the complete settling of the activity of the mind..The settled mind, the mind established in yoga, is free of injury, and the Yoga Sutra says that for this person the environment becomes free of hostility.

St. Francis of Assisi, for instance, was famous for calming people and even animals around him by the sheer power of his love. An individual who has a mind full of peace radiates an influence of peace, and then creates a reality that is peaceful”

in Maharishi’s words, “disallows the birth of an enemy.” When enmity has been eliminated inside, there is no enemy outside. According to Maharishi, “An enemy is the lively embodiment of our own weakness.”

"The principle of non-injury is also described in quantum physics as the Meissner Effect, which shows that a coherent system generates a field around it that is coherent. Non-coherent fields will not penetrate a coherent system.

"In the summer of 1993, 4,000 individuals gathered in Washington, D.C., to see if practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique in groups for two months would affect the crime rate. Dr. John Hagelin, a quantum physicist, predicted that the crime rate would drop by at least 20%. The chief of police went on the evening news and said that it would take a snow blizzard in the middle of summer to accomplish that. washington-dc-meditation-peace-group

Yet, after two months, public records showed that the crime rate dropped 23%. Since most people’s paradigm about the nature of reality is based upon classical mechanics, this experimental result seems unlikely. However, from a quantum perspective, the Washington, D.C., study follows the same principles as the Meissner Effect and was described long ago in the Yoga Sutra—“in the vicinity of yoga, hostile tendencies are eliminated.”-

"Taking it a step further, what if throughout our society there were many large groups of individuals who could do their Transcendental Meditation practice together each day to heighten the experience of Yoga?

Imagine the possibilities. A group of school children meditate and stress levels and violence go down in the neighborhood. A group of elderly people meditate together and their city begins to be more progressive and prosperous. It’s a possibility that could yield profound results both for the individual and for society at virtually no cost, and with great “side-benefits” for each of the individuals involved. It’s worth exploring, isn’t it?

"We are living in an epidemic of stress. Doctors report an alarming rise of stroke, hypertension, and heart disease—now called metabolic syndrome—all of which are diseases of stress. As a result, we would expect to see stressed behavior in society, and it turns out there is plenty of it: crime, domestic violence, terrorism, and war.

Since meditation provides an effective, scientifically proven way to dissolve individual stress, and if society is composed of individuals, then it seems like common sense to use meditation to similarly defuse societal stress. And reduction in crime and stress-related behavior would then be expected to follow

"Invincible Defense Technology - An Ancient Human Resource-Based Technology A new solution proven to prevent social problems like terrorism and war is now available. In military circles it is known as Invincible Defense Technology (IDT). It is an ancient human resource-based technology of consciousness that is capable of defusing and eliminating violence and conflict.

Extensive research has confirmed its effectiveness. This new technology is easily applied and highly cost-effective. With the practical application of the IDT, a field effect of collective consciousness can be created. The intention of the terrorist to commit a hostile act using Improvised Explosive Devices can be deflected by the more powerful influences of collective consciousness. This happens naturally, much as a superconducting magnetic field repels the influence of an intrusive external magnetic field. This latter phenomenon is called the Meissner Effect. The effect of collective consciousness is called the Maharishi Effect. It is named in honor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the foremost exponent and scientist of consciousness known to our modern age."

It is a cup that is full and overflowing only can give tea to surrounding,

Ultimate is self-ness, first , last
however much a being expands to be universal, it has to be it is bound to be within the allowable limits of his mind body system which is a shell, in reality

Every being has something delicate inside, soft, non material, not having dimensions, with 0 density, colorless, tasteless odorless, so it is infinity in fact , a sky like , free, but
it is packed in some form, shape, enclosed within the boundaries of skin/hide/ bark/peel/fibre/crust/ shell-----and necessarily made to live and grow within its limits ---tho to limitlessness.
essence is , our life is individualistic , with ''the virtue of selfishness'' [ book b ayn rand ]
quantified, yet having possibilities of growth in quantum jumps

Possible to stretch limits, but up to a limit
in fact every impulse is to stretch limits, to grow to expand, to multiply , and spread , span the entire universe, as early as possible, as easily as possible, looking for, creating avenues, opportunities , to grow and grow to infinite level

And in the process, as a byproduct, not the main product, ---the growth of the environ also is designed to happen , as a consequence of it, but not the aim of it, the main aim being self-ness , self interest, self preservation, self evolution

Every realized soul has gone thru the journey of self evolution first, ----not selflessness first ----after he attains to a great level., the environ around him gets the influence of his personal growth and starts to respond to his wishes,
in the evolved state, what can be his wish, tan to share maximum joy to maximum number of people , earliest . his activities spread, not because of his selflessness , but because of his selfish desire to do maximum good to people , and since he is now filled with joy, it starts to overflow

It is a cup that is full and overflowing only can give tea to surrounding,

not the empty or the one with contents scanty.
empty hands cannot serve

Empty hearts cannot share
abundance only can share abundance with others
so first
one self to become the best, most evolved, most enriched, most enlightened, most fulfilled, most happy, most healthy, most knowledgeable, most powerful, most influential
and then
start overflowing, flooding ,

to engulf all in the universe ,

in the waves of joy, in the weaves of love ,

and convert it a heaven

Cow not the only...Om Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu

Cow not the only

quote

''Om Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu:
May Peace & Happiness Prevail

Amma has chosen some peace mantras for daily chanting by her devotees and disciples. One of those invocations is Om lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu. Although this mantra does not appear in any of the existent Veda sakhas [Vedic branches], it is an expression of the universal spirit that we find therein1. Let's take a look at what context it appears in and what meaning it carries. The sloka as a whole reads as follows:

svasti prajabhyam paripalayantham nyayeana margena mahim maheesah
gobrahmanebhya shubamsthu nityam lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu

May there be well being to the people;
May the kings rule the earth along the right path;
May the cattle and the Brahmins have well being forever;
May all the beings in all the worlds become happy;
Peace, peace and peace be everywhere!

The sloka is an invocation for harmony and blessings for all of creation. In ancient days the social structure and form of government differed from ours in many ways, that is why we need not take the literal meaning of this sloka, but the essence.

For peace and harmony to prevail, the kings--i.e. the politicians and leaders--should have a healthy approach towards their subjects and govern according to principles of dharma. This, we sadly note, is very rare indeed in today's world where power and wealth seem to be the prime motivation for the ruling elite. Nevertheless, the ideal remains as it is, and as Amma's teachings are personally influencing countless politicians all over the world, there might yet be light at the end of the tunnel.

Brahmin is one who has either realized his oneness with Brahman, the Absolute, or one who has deducted his life to the pursuit of that realization. Such selfless people are the enlightened thinkers who provide society with a healthy understanding of life. They give guidance to all sections of society, including the political leadership. A Brahmin can also mean a brilliant intellectual who is using his talents to selflessly serve society. Thus for a stable and bright society, it is essential that these Brahmins are healthy. The sage who gave voice to this mantra obviously does not assert Brahmin-hood as a hereditary vocation as found today.

There are many examples in history to demonstrate that Brahmin-hood is an inner quality not dependent on the social status that prevails upon one's birth. We need only to look back to the great sage Veda Vyasa, also known as Krishna Dvaipayana because he had a dark complexion and was born on an island. He was born to a fisherwoman but possessed one of the greatest minds of all times and is universally accepted as a great rishi. He codified the Vedas and composed original works that are famed all over the world for their exquisite spiritual content. Among them are popular works like the Mahabharata and Srimad Bhagavatam, as well as profound treatises on the Ultimate Reality like the Brahma Sutras. In spite of his humble origins, Sage Vyasa is one of the most revered among the plethora of India's spiritual giants.

Amma was born in a community of fisher folk. She was educated only up until the fourth standard and speaks only her mother tongue. Also, most striking of all, she has never studied the scriptures. Yet their wisdom flows from her lips unceasingly, rendering the most abstract truths in simple ways that most anyone can understand. Who would then deny Amma's Brahmin-hood? Amma is directing the world with her wisdom, speaking to large audiences throughout the world, even at the United Nations.

Now, one might wonder about the cattle in this prayer, saying to one's self: "What on earth have I, a city-dwelling modern person, to do with cattle? Shouldn't I rather be praying that my BMW stays in good condition?" We need not be too literal-minded. The ancients didn't use language in such a one-dimensional way as we do. If we contemplate deeply on the meaning of any given mantra, it is likely that it will reveal more and more layers of meaning. "Cattle" signifies nourishment and abundance in general. In ancient time cattle served as a sort of bank account. The number of cattle a person had was the measure of his wealth. Also, the milk was the primary source of livelihood for a large portion of society. Milk and milk products such as ghee comprised the majority of the offerings made into the sacrificial fires used in formal ritual worship. Thus cows are mentioned in many ancient texts as a symbol of plenty. It can be taken symbolically, like "the daily bread."

In today's society, such a prayer, if taken literally, has also a special irony, for cattle ranches around the world have become breeding grounds for diseases like the mad-cow epidemic. When cattle and the rest of the animal kingdom are devoid of well being, humanity will also suffer. Thus harmony between humans and the rest of creation is also stressed in this prayer. Actually cow can be taken as representative of the entire animal kingdom. The Sanskrit word for cattle is "go," which is a most profound Vedic symbol and has many subtle spiritual meanings. Two such secondary meanings are "earth" and "mother," and as such the sloka could also be a prayer for the welfare of Mother Earth. So we need not be worried that God will send a herd of cattle charging through our living room when we pray thus.

The most important aspect of the mantra is that the sage does not pray only for his clan or nation but for the whole world or, more precisely, all the worlds2. This, as Amma tells us and shows us, is the correct way to pray. Instead of asking for something for our self, Amma advises us to pray for the whole creation. Praying for the welfare of all sentient beings--all humans, all animals, all plants—our mind becomes more expansive. Through such prayer we slowly can go beyond our limited egocentric concepts of self to identify with the entire creation, recognizing its true nature to be none other than our own. And as we too are part of the world, we also are benefited from the blessings of the prayer.

Amma's whole life is a constant endeavor to bring happiness to as many beings as possible. Her life verily is this prayer in action. She is showing us the correct attitude by which not only to pray but also by which to live.

While chanting Om lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu next time, let us try to feel deeply for all living beings, and make a resolve to live in this selfless spirit.

May peace and harmony prevail.

we all have all faculties inside to become engineer, doctor, lawyer,

1 we all have all faculties inside to become engineer, doctor, lawyer, poet, singer, artist, dramatist, and whatever line , infinite channels .

2 we also have the best of desire to be any one of these or all of these

3 we have faith ,belief ,hope, trust in ourselves, trust in god that we can and we will really become as per our intentions

but , unfortunately not all who have these 1 2 3 have become really, though they have all the faculties inside ,

but ----only the one ----------------only the one

who went to the school, college, university ,

to learn from the teachers, the professors , the guides

who did become masters thru learning, from their masters

and then gained the ability to teach and make one to learn and practice and

become master

Similarly ,,,,,,

all have potentialities, inside, dormant,

to become , truthful, goodmen, godmen, saints, sants, savanths,

rishis, maharishis, devarishis, brahmarishis,

and even to become the supreme, brahman too

and to become all knowing jagadguru

and to become all powerful jagannath

and to rule the universe at one's beck and call

we have all the faculties, god has given these ,

as if father kept all the wealth in the safe lockers for inheritance by the sons

and kept the secrete key with his closest friend

but alas, not knowing that fact, not knowing the key to access the wealth.

the sons are begging in the street, searching from pillar to post

not finding it during the life

only difference is one out of them could approach the one who knows, who can help,

and instantly he became the richest, owning the wealth and utilizing it in the real life

he is no more a beggar now

but all other sons are remaining as beggars

Seed of the tree contains everything that tree can be---all potentiality
to sprout, to grow into a plant, a trunk, a branch, a leaf, a flower, a fruit to grow into full stature become the best flourishing tree

but not all the seeds become trees

only that seed which has the opportunity to get a little moisture starts sprouting

it's all the essential difference

so

potentialities need to be nurtured , to become actualized

and one, definitely, needs the guidance from the one who knows , one who shows

spirituality costs, any way whether it comes to you door delivery or you go to its door knocking unwary

spirituality costs, any way
whether it comes to you door delivery
or you go to its door knocking unwary
since , for life it is essentially necessary
much more basic than the necessities, comforts , luxury

i said it costs
1 you be wise to invest the right cost , in right time, for right thing
with proper evaluation, testing, sampling, inspection, checking user's feedback, eliminate spurious, obsolete, worn out, expired,

choose the best at the lowest price,

preferably home delivered with guarantee,

or at least at a local dealer ,

avoiding to reach the factory, all the way

2 if you are not wise and alert, it costs a life ,

a life time wasted, a life wasted –

if you try to tinker with your own designed thing,

with your ignorance, half knowledge

any thing cannot be designed and manufactured with 8 th class knowledge,

but requires its special skills, knowledge expertise and experience apart from qualification , above all a professional competence, towards reaching the excellence

Ya, spirituality really is more costly than a kohinoor, do not underestimate

And a standard proven, excellent best stuff,

which delivers the good definitely costs, a bit more than the second quality
and cheap counterfeits are available at throw away price.
and useless scrap, rotten, stink is available at junk yards, all free, and plenty

Diamonds pearls are there in the ocean,
gold silver are available under the earth

you can go and pick them
or you can buy at shop

think what costs less / more why

Value is the criteria, go for the best, pay its price

True spirituality is the most valuable commodity,
life saving essential commodity
more valuable than one's breath and ones very life
any price you pay is nothing
not at all a play toy, to be kidding with

I am no joking, i speak with all seriousness and truth,
though not likeable by all,

---it is with my experience as a back ground

Value commands price,

no ads, no marketing, no sale talk,

no discounts, no free gifts enhance its demand

only quality , value, originality , purity ------is paramount,

and price will go with it service charges added and after sale service provided , at the nearest branch , for convenience and no delay service

Choice is yours
my advice is not new----in matters of spirituality

---do not be ''penny wise pound foolish''

it's a matter of life’s challenge
not a thing like buying vegetables

Thank you , you woke from your slumber of frivolousness on a serious matter

''so what do i buy and when .....at which store .''---------------if serious i can give a valid suggestion, you can act on it with confidence, it is based on my enough market search and product research and trials tests with actual results evaluated with sensitive balance

All materials are basically non material, but only spiritual in essence,

if you see it deeper from visual to their inside structure to their physical chemical properties to its elemental, nuclear level electronic to subatomic to the ultimate matter fields, to energy force fields to the field of finest particles to the most fundamental the unified, field the pure consciousness

so nothing is material all are pure spirit in essence

Sathyam shivam sundaram is the brahma suthra

Sathyam shivam sundaram is the brahma suthra that underlies the creation of beauty

truth=like in geometry, st line is really straight without deviation, , circle is really defect free circles, sphere is really spherical without depressions and elevations
similarly ,

when things are expressed in true way they are beautiful, sundaram, and they are good shivam

There are so many detailed principles, like symmetry, mirror symmetry, , two/three axis symmetry--this is on visual ,

similarly on sound, smell, taste, touch, --constituting whole beauty
god is the most beautiful, conforming super symmetry

See wiky pedia hoggards principles of beauty

beauty of sound is music, with thal etc

beauty of movement is dance,

gods are good at sangeeth---gayan vaadan, naachan

The greater the artist, great is his art,

effortlessly he expresses.

his expression conforms to brahma suthra effortless,
masterpieces are the result, of paint, sculpture, music, speech, poetry,

--all have basic principles underlying which make them good and appealing valuable
REPLYDELETE

If artist does not have depth, without sadhana, his efforts are just useless,

may be he is most modern with best of medium and best material or best theme

My evaluation does not stop at physical level,

i look for the essence that conveys to me,
i look for the awakening it triggers in me ,
whether it leads me in to my own depth,
and get to the heart of the artist inside me.

this criteria is very high and very few stand my expectations

Learning –an obstruction for free expression?

Learning –an obstruction for free expression?

the more i read, the more i remember, the more parrot i become

memory filled with clichés, hackneyed phrases, idioms, giving an inadvertent impression that i am a learned fellow ,well read, fluent, stylish

–without revealing that i am a victim of my learning

there are plenty of expressions– my memory readily supplies , the moment i start penning a passage.

i want to convey a thing but i am distracted to convey a different thing

by the load of my vocabulary, phrases, quotes, episodes, similes , homilies, metaphors.

and secretly i get a satisfaction that i am writing nicely like a great author–which i never wanted to get.

in the process my point is lost or obscured.

i am just flabbergasted to see this phenomenon happening, and it is as if i am writing by habit , not originally, but inebriated with the exuberance of my own verbosity, i tend to be a showman, a sales man of my scholarship , a curator , rather than , where i really wanted to become a creator.

jk wrote a book named ”freedom from the known”

how true it is

all my knowing has become a cage imprisoning my real being aspiring to be innovative to discover and present a new world to the readers

words creep in here , which are unnecessary and i should have used some originals.

expression should be precise to the point, purposeful, a productive endeavor.

how i wish i can be as original as i want to be!

extending the thought that our exposure to things around, people we come across, experiences we undergo ——-all leave their impressions, cluttering our being, making us behave as a trained monkey under the control of his master.

moment to moment we must watch and safeguard our original perfect nature from all tendencies–like how his father kept rishyashringa, isolated from all
and preserved his life to grow in to a chaste rishi who commanded the rains to shower in the kingdom
