Sankrit is the mother of all Indian languages. So we would gain a lot by learning that language. 1) we will be able to understand ancient scripts 2) we will be able to understand more of the reasons for whatever practices we have been doing 3) it is proven by NASA that sanskrit is the most scientific language for the computer and artificial intellegence, if you want so called modern scientific knowledge 4) Most of the sanskrit texts teach high ethical standards. so we can lot of good things from sanskrit literature. 5) why would we deny ourselves such a rich heritage wherein so much of good beckons us?
