"On any saint or great soul one cannot estimate his worth by only reading/ looking/hearing but learning from him and practicing and experiencing the truth of his teaching i say shankara is great not by reading his scripts , but by experiencing of brahmand within me . in fact i read very little on shankara, i need not have to read thru the easiest , fastest way shown by him, i can read within me all shankara's teaching , it is no claim . if i open any of his books, it is just too elementary for me . such is the great things one experiences in real life .but i am no follower of him nor promoter of him nor i closed my mind on other teachers . but i do assess all inputs and rate them as per my own reference , it can be right or wrong and he has said all things so clearly, simply, briefly, completely that every other teacher stands nowhere near to him but it is a different matter how his followers are"
