---snobbery, ritual, externalities, 
non relevance and more, 
more of just an event management, 
an unavoidable obligation, 
money, show etc

i feel too all is not well.

but no..

No--not so 

what is going on is also a divine show of our times, when looked the other way.

i am flabbergasted at the overflowing devotion in the devotees, 
in tirupathi , ayyappa, poori jagannath, culcutta durgafestivals-dhai handi at bombay, vinayak at hyd etc

what a great inspiration driving all to find time and resources to just fulfill the feeblest desire to worship, 
---with music, dance, noise, grandeur, 
play, dramas, sports, competitions , 
puja, prasada,

new attires, flowers, bathi, decorations

--let it be --money/publicity/stunt/what ever can be the driving force all in the name of god, 
in the faith in him---some thing i feel humble

It is all play and display of purusha pratibha, 
the deepest coming out with best of talents, 
organizing power, team work, 
such harmony and serenity 
amidst the rush , deafening loudspeakers, 
push pull of crowds

--what is that which makes all this to happen?

yes ----infn tech is dominating , online services reservations, even puja , but it is all a great thing how nicely getting attended

i may get disgust in waiting for hours in the que, 
but i still makes me to reflect for a while

--what is all this nonsense
--at the same time i feel it is all the pure sense,

things are still happening, 
things are mobilized for a cause unseen 
in the name of invisible some thing

men women boys girls doing dance and bhajan, kolatam, 
steps in rhythm with the devotional song s

--i feel why not i join them and be one with them,

leave alone god, it's a great thing happening 
some one offers a golden throne to shirdi, 
or currency in thirupathi hundi

i feel yes divine has its own ways to move the heart and minds of the ignorant masses
--rather child like innocent ways of the crowds

and i feel the devotion myself whether it is felt by all or not

lets flow in song and dance with the crowd 
and pull the divine chariot, 
tho our effort has any effect on its movement, 
it being in no hurry to be in line with the speed age.
