There are no thorns as such, and nothing harms if one learns how to be with the thorns, minding own business, without suspecting motives , that may be or may not be real,

like a flower exists

flower is still a flower though in the company of thorns,

thorns will not prick the flower why ?

since flower knows how to coexist with thorns
