The mountain and the squirrel Had quarrel1 | Faith And Rituals Blog on Speakingtree.inThe mountain and the squirrel
Had quarrel;

And the former called the latter "Little Prig."
Bun replied, "You are doubtless very big;

But all sorts of things and weather
Must be taken in together,

To make up a year
And a sphere.

And I think it no disgrace
To occupy my place.

If I'm not so large as you, You are not so small as I,
And not half so spry.

I'll not deny you make ,A very pretty squirrel track;
Talents differ; all is well and wisely put;

If I cannot carry forests on my back,
Neither can you crack a nut."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Let's not belittle any one , is the lesson i learn from the great intellectual emerson
each having its own place with its own strengths and limtations, complementing each other in this universe
i feel pity at the deplorable attitude of ridicule.
but limitations are understandable, even of the greatest masters

The moment we take sides, we are off the track.

this is exactly the point ,

avoid the thousand distractions ,

assert what is that you have to say straight in brief but direct

with full awareness of the inadequacies existing around, real or perceived

by ridicule you cannot make them to vanish but to floursh

best to accept and go beyond it , not to focus it , even if of mine, if it distracts
