the pure knowingness, the pure being 
has no qualities, gender, dimensions, color, shape, beyond any attributes or classifications, partitions, labels, distinctions , it is ' i '', the one universal ego ,
it is one homogeneous whole unifying all diversity and variety, harmoniously, containing all within itself, the male, female, but in unmanifest state, or just to manifest state , to state precisely

If male or female meditates and reaches the state of samadhi, 
this state of pure consciousness, pure being , '' i '', or supreme ego irrespective of gender
this is uniformly experienced, in all humans, female or male, in fact, every living being is fundamentally is this '' i ' ' within the core,

However, this supreme ego the universal ego '' i '' is overshadowed by the attributes, and perceived as the individual ego, individual ''' i '' , aham taking aakaar , becoming ahamkaar, ie with attributes as i am male. i am female,i am manager, i am singer, i am teacher, i am child, i am mother, i am sportsman, or i am postman etc , this is called the veil of ignorance hiding the essential , real '' i ''

1 devotee reaches subtle states of mind, perceives some thing ethereal, and expresses his perceptions by means of an image, of his own creation ,may be a female or male, all provisional, incidental, but in essence not real .

2 realized soul , more evolved than the devotee , expresses the truths of his findings thru his allegories, which is only mediums to convey the messages ,

3 the ignorant following them , 1 and 2 , not knowing the reality , just worships the icons or images, as gods , and derives a marginal satisfaction , treats them as an anchor to tide over crises in life like diseases and difficulties .

4 we should not get deluded by all kinds of customs beliefs , faiths,rituals, 
and should not get stuck here , but proceed towards gaining the access to the supreme one '' i '' , the reality

and the individual ego must be allowed to grow and expand to all inclusive infinitely large universal ego, like the water in the pot is one with the ocean , when pot is immersed
