Why not our visionary prime minister, Modi take a look at this vital need of water , now leading to a water war between ap and ts
Water is a vital need, drinking water is a matter of life and death
For the farmer It has become a matter of forced death and suicide
For industry and citizens in general, it has become a day and night frustration , not knowing when the lights and fans , pumps and machines, get shut down , get breakdown
While it is appreciated that both the cm s have a responsibility to guard the interests of their respective states, and to be rigid and uncompromising, the unresolved conflict is seriously affecting the lives of the citizens of both the states, reaching dangerous limits
In such a situation, should the prime minister , who is entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the lives of the citizens of the nation as a whole, keep just watching silently??
Whereas the genuine efforts of the governor to bring the cm s closer are appreciable, the hearts have not opened.
The committees ‘s efforts too are leading to inconclusive or indecisiveness and being not mandatory have not been able to resolve the matter , no doubt , with all the best efforts .
It’s leading to a situation ‘’all have done their job, but the job is not done ‘’
In this predicament, it is the imperative and prerogative of the prime minister who alone can treat the problem without the bias of state borders or party governments and take a serious action , immediately on ‘’war footing’’ so that ‘’water wars ‘’ now tending to ‘’words war’’ should not lead to grow into ‘’world war proportion ‘’
Nation has enough experts, and genius luminaries who can solve the problem on ‘’professional, technical basis’’ and Prime minister , can draw up on their services and make them study and come with the best optimum solution , their decision should be made mandatory so that no more controversies will rise and the problem will not repeat in future
Some points worth considering are
1. Water is used for producing electricity , ok , but that electricity be used for borewells for irrigation , is it not a wasteful effort
2. Instead, let the water be used directly to the nearby fields
3. Suicides must be prevented first, farmer should not be forced to die
4. drinking water is basic , needs the immediate solution , also a long term permanent solution
5. Any hasty solutions should not affect the drinking water supply in future
6. like the project ’’bath room facilities to every house’’ why not a national project ‘’ drinking water to every house’’
7. also why not a national project ‘’ uninterrupted electricity to every house, every industrial unit’’
If it is not possible to solve the water issue, why not secretaries pass on the job to pm level But how long to wait ??
