every teacher is a student , not only just teaching but continuously learning more and more, ever updating, ever discovering the new dimensions of truth,

 

 ...teachers day is concerned with both ''learning and teaching'', and awakening the guru that exists eternally in every shishya

 

and it is appropriate that we celebrate the guru utsav by both teacher and students, parents and all citizens as innocent fresh children ready to learn and grow in wisdom
