  Responsibility

“To a person who is spiritually evolved, there is no question of taking responsibility, .or evading or passing the buck ,even on to god,

as he fully knows that all acts are done by God,
and since he has realized god, he knows that himself is that god and he …. is … the doer, truly .. not just a vehicle for the divine.that exists some where unseen

It is this teaching that Lord Krishna gave Ajruna on the battlefield, through the Bhagwad Geeta, that you are a non-doer, since you are doing in the state of nondoing, naishkarmyam, and hence you are fully responsible for what you do. , not krishna or some distant god,

This hold true for both the good and bad deeds that we do. We can never relinquish responsibility , since truly we are the god in the realized state so we must be utmost concerned on the results of our every action we should not ignore or be reckless on the consequences in the assumption that we are giving up doer-ship totally,

god ‘ spirituality is not an escape route
on the other hand, enlightened person grows to a level that he takes the responsibility for the smooth running of the whole universe
one guru taught this

he in fact administered an oath for us all, it is we took an oath
” i am responsible for the whole universei am the matha pita bandhu sakha for the whole universe”

his saying is
”if we take responsibility power comes to us”

all spirituality is a training for living a totally responsible life ,
by realizing that one is himself is the god that is running the universe

responsible life is

responsible life is, in a way,  is the realization of ”aham brahmasmi’’ speaking in  modern language, all potentialities are inbuilt,

one to learn only to gain access to his own hidden inner powers,

and lead a happy and glorious life, taking the whole responsibility on oneself,

one needs to cultivate himself a little to become the best friend of oneself, self truly becoming a friend in need, and a friend indeed

can we say, all spiritual quest is towards realizing this goal?,

“In a similar experience i wrote a bit as follows ……..

శూన్యం కోసం వెతికాను

77;నంతం చేతికి తగిలిందిA 533;

ఏకాంతం కోసం నడిచాను

వ 35;శ్వం నా చొక్కా లా నాతో బాటే వచ్చింది

&nbs p;

I searched for nothingness

i stumbled upon infinity

i strolled for the sake of loneliness

universe accompanied me as my pant and shirt

i searched the whole universe for many things

i found nothing————fortunately”

“Yoga ratho va Bhoga ratho va.

Sanga ratho va sanga vihina

yasya Bhramani ramathe chittam

nandathi nandathi nandati eva

in silence or in activity, in the company, or alone

who revels in his self, he enjoys, enjoys, enjoys only

In the initial stages, one having invested his time on himself, in regular spells, in isolation, the individual over some time becomes an expert , like a wise business, he becomes skilled in investing his attention most profitably to himself and others — –ie very selectively and skilfully spending on other individuals or other issues, with alertness, eventually he finds himself to be one with the whole universe, every thing ,every being become a part of his personality, all none other than himself in this state, he has no thing more to bother, becomes carefree, nonchalant, doing things, spontaneously right with ease, interacting with all most actively, and usefully mutually, yet , never exhausting himself, rather his activities having become anchored to his lone deep self , his energies become auto-charging, while being spent in this state, he is alone, though the company of the universe since he has become united with the universe

he is enjoying his own company , though when with all around as shankara sings ”yoga ratho va bhoga ratho”

since attention is the most valuable wealth that individual owns ,it’s one’s potential energy and so it must not be frittered away on any pretext even kindness or humour , one must be very careful on whom/ on which to invest how much the attention on own self is the best investment, since it regenerates, in this it does not get lost, but gives valuable returns hence,

so the wise people do create a little space in the day’s activity, a few minutes for themselves in the morning and evening, and at noon to get recharged

and there are individuals who go and stay alone in remote places for spells , a week, or a month annually

incidentally the tradition of summer/winter holidays for students has some similar basis ,

ie for turning one to oneself , but we do not use that opportunity properly

ability to sync, and harmonize conflicting/ contradicting inputs is a great requirement.and this ability is gained if one creates a space for himself beyond all issues, good, bad, agreeable or not, logical or sentimental .

since any input has a tendency to condition the mind so the need to experience that loneliness which frees all conditioning

finally

“Tu hi sagar hai tu hi kinara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara

uska saya hai tu uska darpan

tere sine me hai uski dhadkan

teri aankho me uska ishara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara

pap kya punay hai kya ye bhula de

karam kar phal ki chinta mita de

ye parikashya hogi dubara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara

tu hi sagar hai tu hi kinara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara

dhundata hai tu kiska sahara”

Since self asserts the truth more authentically, we find that the essence of the best messages from such persons, hailing from different geo / time will be almost parallel / coinciding though differing in lang, idiom, metaphor / allegory and tally with the expressions in vedas/scriptures, without reading them this is because they have gained access to all the scriptures within their self , and they will not care to the assessment from any outside sources, their life is of a standard of its own, , some times even ridiculed by some

When you are your own best friend, you don’t endlessly seek out relationships, friendships, and validation from the wrong sources because you realize that the only approval and validation you need is your own.

i make a bold statement, ie, scriptures and even vedas cannot fully certify / validate / approve the attainment of a such a person

on the contrary

only such a person can really certify / validate / approve the truth of the scriptures and even vedas

this point may be against the general grasp of many spirituals, and will not be accepted, of course, nothing to bother, since self asserts this more authentically

we are all 100 per cent responsible

we are all 100 per cent responsible for how our life turns

we are all 100 per cent responsible for how our life turns out.

we should not pass the buck on god, fate, circumstances, or on any other nice title conveniently, cunningly,

1  we are entities in the organisation of god, ie, in the universe, with well defined powers, duties, responsibilities,, and with infinite options moment to moment, and associated rewards punishments, yet with unlimited scope to rise to higher levels,
to the topmost level even, all thru our alert, wise, timely actions , with alacrity, with a working life of 100 years.

some rise. some stay stuck, some commit mistakes,
and what happens to us as consequence is due to our own actions

2  some vehicle hits, though we are safe in driving, though we are not involved, earth quake may kill us. rain does not come, sunami, floods, disasters occur
however ,here too we are responsible to what happens to us, and every where
since,
we did not learn and know how to do the right action at the right rime, so that all these can be predicted, so we could escape, so that all these bad happennings are prevented, and do not happen at all

but ignorance of law is no excuse

3  one falls in the water, dies--he did not learn
other falls in the water, swims, survives, even enjoys a dip in water
---he is a master, over water

4 we are meant to be masters by learning the art of becoming the master, and command the universe at will

5 our traditions taught this wisdom, to enable us to become master, not to be a football at the situations and circumstances, just being a helpless creature

we lost that great education, hence we try to pass the buck cleverly on all externals , fate, god, colleague, neighbor, govt, god
for all our own deficiencies
