methods can be many or one or none,
….. but most others get lost searching in the countless scriptures ,
alas, yasthan na veda kim richa karishyathi??

perfection in paandithya will not help
, …nahi nahi rakshathi dukrun karani

when a master reads scriptures

 when a master reads scriptures, he will not gain, he himself being the store house of all the scriptures

but scriptures gain from his attention
how
since he knows the totality, he knows the ultimate depth and infinite width of the issues

so he can instantly assess the level of the writer, he can see the lapses inadequacies, scopes /areas of improvements, and this feed back if the writer takes seriously, he stands to gain and the scriptures produced by him get updated towards more perfection

we see this in tv shows, the singers and dancers are made to perform in the presence of masters, and masters keenly observing and then assessing the performance, and thus helping the performer towards improvement and mastery
