The fundamental essential for a fruitful relation is the firm connection soul to soul

relations can be between any---
wife husband,
mother father,
sister brother,
teacher student,
blogger reader,
leader cadre,
woman man
human animal
human nature
and
human universe

if the connection is lacking, or is slacking,

then that relation is foul ,unfair, failure ,

the consequences will be unpleasant, if not utterly disastrous

 Any relation requires soul contact soul contact of one's own makes one to overflow with love love , divine is the basis for humans to get connected with any one any thing in the unverse rather to get connected with the whole universe in the most profound, meaningful, mutually rewarding waywhat is the mutual reward, basically it is joy , but it is really joy+all , any thing you can add

Soul is jeevamu, praanamu, atma,

It is the energy that is driving the body

It is like electricity driving an appliance/machine

In a dead body , the connection to the soul is lost , ie soul has left

So the body stops working

Individual soul is jeevaathma, like local electric connection,

universal soul  is paramaathma, like whole electric grid , from which all local connections draw the power

atma , paramathma essentially are energy

जिवो ब्रह्मैव न परः

 jiva (individual or particularized consciousness etc.) is nothing but the Brahman.
