ganesha is symbolic , it is the principle of mastery over obstacles, vighnas, he is lord of obstacles, vighna raja, vighneshwara, has lordship over obstacles, he can create obstacles , he can remove obstacles, he is vighna karta, he is vighna harta

to reconcile this and to understand, let us understand how a on / off switch functions

in a circuit we can understand the role of switch to pass current or to cut off

one to gain mastery over the switch to carry on trials

even a tap / valve on a pipe line is similarly a n example of how the principle of vighnaraja works

other examples are, traffic signal , vehicle brakes/ speed breakers, dam on a river , etc

so the principle of vighnaraja does exist

Allah is the unmanifest para brahma , no name no form no icon no statues

you can call it as non existent since unmanifest aspect of creation remains unseen beyond sensory perception

Just like allah never existed. Check out Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Lybia, Sudan, Somalia.... heck list is so long. All countries believers of Allah.

Troubles are due to the wrong interpretation and misunderstanding of quran

in fact islam teaches the principle of one superpower governing the universe, they call allah, we call it parabrahma, it's really advaithic truth , if only this can be really understood by all, and it is not so easy unless one glimpses the pure self within

once this glimpse is gained we will be able to sync all religions and approaches with harmonious understanding , without conflict

Every individual has some basis based on his education, training, experience,, thinking ability, all statements are valid to the individual

individuals are free to hold to their conclusions, and share too . let's just share we need not agree or disagree

God's creations are most colourful and none is unique. Each one is different in character. Results vary based on individual's karma.

Thanks rishi ji, after months i am hearing from u .. its so pleasure .

rishiji, according to naresh ji ... , - ganesh ji has a prominent and significant values for hindus. he was crowned as the wisest in race among the rest of deities and won th heart of his parents by revolving around them , when other stupid gods along with karthi etc wasted their time and energy running around the earth etc.

there is another yet un published anthology on ganesha by sonee ji, which question - where was the poor head less body of elephanta dumped after shiva heartlessly choped the harmless elephant child , whose head became so wise after surgery on ganesha's headless body ? the second question which the author asks - shud not we celebrate that 'wise elephant child' who was actually so wise but killed by shiva ? shud not we raise temple for that killed baby elephant who became martyr and gifted his own head o ganesha either by sacrificing or by force?

And lastly what the author asks - where is the actual chopped head of ganesha ? what fate did it met?

anyway rishi ji the more we talk ,, the more we wud land nno where , so lets focus oon issue raised herre ?REPLY  Like (1) Report Offensive Block this user

3 .in the passage of time, due to time and geo contexts that lighting spark got lost , where as match box was given , but the match sticks had no lighting head , yet people were told to rub the sticks , and people started pretending to rub and light the match sticks , but alas no spark can come,

so no internal light,

so only the blind rituals and idolatry, festivals and grandiose only remained and is continuing

and ganesh festival is one example

any sane advise from any great saint or great luminaries.. cannot be just grasped without that light,

soneeji is very right in conveying the harsh reality of blind practices , though in his own sweet and salty poetry . it's a great alert one must rethink on what exactly is the thing that they are doing in the name of ganesha ,

they also must know what ganesha episode conveys in reality , scriptures do convey saying ''vighna katha and vighna hartha ''...ie, obstacles creator and obstacles remover......but alas , it cannot be just understood without that sparkREPLYDELETE  Like

2 ..but as a permanent and effective help they also provided ways and means to access the truths inside directly by which one can easily know and understand the totality of all the natural laws without needing any such medium .....this help is the tradition of guru parampara, in which the spark is transmitted from generation to generation to illumine the internal wealth

the internal wealth cannot be gained without that light , also the scriptures were written in the light of that sparkREPLYDELETE  Like

Rishika Kapoor ji,

focussing on issue raised here

1... there are many laws governing the universe , these are eternal, non changing, tamper proof, and universal, ie working nonstop ,day and night, every where, these are not man made, nor invented,

yet unknown to beings and common humans except a few exceptionally wise human beings . these humans are rishis and they discovered these in their tapasya, ie in their internal exploration. they called these laws as ''devas''

while communicating their findings to laymen they took the help of a number of mediums like allegories, metaphors, icons, symbols, and wrote epics episodes scriptures poetry as a improvisation
