1 law of karma as you said is scientific, being the cause and effect[but much more in scope than known scientifically. ]
instinct of beings ,you have clarified. except that, instinct cannot predict effect of karma . instinct decides like/unlike , viveka[human] can analyze consequences by experience/observati​on/prediction/logica​l extention. to a little extent only , other beings remember consequences of choo**** karma.  a dog , seeing a stick starts behaving
2  karma to be understood much more, i shall think and respond,  mostly from geetha
3  sidhi also to be understood, i shall be dwelling on this [my topic, one of ] , for the time being, i only say---sidhi is a natural phenomenon, in accordance with laws of nature----sidha can not bend rules----he becomes much more in tune with nature as he evolves---he gets   more familiar with / cooperation from nature, in turn his wish gets accomplished. yatheenaam brahma bhavathi saarathi
4 rightly said, danger it is to equate magic with sidhi.if somebody exploits ignorance, he has to reap consequences
